MATTHEW CARPENTER

My passion for this career path came earlier to me than most others. I was 12 when I started working for a custom welding shop. I loved every day learning new skills and challenging not only myself, but everyone else around me. I’ve always had this internal drive, I wanted to learn more, do more, create more, and help more. That hunger has become what defines me now. Never being satisfied with a project unless I completed it to the highest standards I could achieve. Challenging myself to learn new skills and to improve the skills I already knew. I found I had this insatiable hunger for creating and learning, and it has guided my entire career to places that I never imagined I could reach.

I’ve been fortunate to have a career spanning over two and a half decades, working alongside the industry's top craftsmen. In addition to collaborating with top artisans, I've also partnered with brilliant designers, enhancing our projects' creativity and execution. For the last decade, I have worked hand in hand with them on projects ranging from small bathroom remodels all the way to multi-million dollar remodels and custom new home builds. Today, I find that the balance between building with the purpose to create something beautiful as well as to create something that will stand up to the test of time has led me to pioneer building practices and procedures that put us at the forefront in the design build industry.

 When I started this journey long ago, I knew two things, I was going to be a man who led a life of hard work and honesty, and that I was going to be an amazing father. When I’m not on a job site, I’m with my family. We love spending time outdoors and doing everything we can to tire out our three young boys. Sports, camping, hiking, exploring, science experiments, biking, and game night are a few of our favorites. Currently I’m the reigning Monopoly champion and I look forward to the day I can pass that title off to my boys, as well as getting to watch them discover what inspires them and the men they become.
